Pendulum for After Effects

Pendulum is an After Effects preset that can easily generate rhythmic motion. Featuring 5 Waveform types and controls for Amplitude, Frequency, and Phase. Additional useful controls are included to further shape your motion.

The preset includes 5 Waveforms:

• Sine
• Cosine
• Triangle
• Saw
• Square

And controls for the following parameters:

• Amplitude
• Frequency (Seconds, Frames, or BPM)
• Phase
• Sine Steepness
• Sine Skew

The Tempo menu includes many useful options to easily change the timing. E.g. 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc. I find this especially useful when using BPM.

You can integrate the Output value into any parameter in After Effects by pickwhipping it into an expression. There are some included parameters to pickwhip for Position, Rotation, and Opacity.

Also included are the Master and Instance presets, which are set up to easily create complex systems that can take advantage of the Property Offset parameters.
